The Silicon Valley office of DLA Piper currently is seeking a mid-level state and local tax associate with 3-4 years of experience. We seek candidates with experience assisting clients in both planning and controversy contexts with a wide variety of state and local tax issues, including state income taxes, franchise taxes, gross receipts taxes and sales and use taxes. Knowledge of nexus issues and multistate apportionment is required, along with an understanding of planning issues in the technology transactions (including e-commerce) and M&A.
