The Chicago office of McGuireWoods seeks an associate to join its Technology and Outsourcing practice. Qualified candidates will have 2 – 4 years of transactional experience. Candidates must have a demonstrated capability in information technology issues and developments and have an interest in being part of a specialized and fast-paced practice supporting business uses of technology. Transactional experience in general corporate, corporate finance, and/or information technology transactions is required. Specific background in information technology, outsourcing, internet or ecommerce is also required, and experience with technology licensing and intellectual property is a strong plus. In addition, this candidate must be a proven self-starter willing to take on a good deal of responsibility, with strong academic and work experience.
