Requirements:

Goodwin Procter seeks a highly qualified mid-level associate (3rd – 5th year) to join our growing and nationally recognized Private Equity Group. Candidate must have three – five years of general experience working in teams on merger and acquisition transactions, leveraged buyouts, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions and exits and equity compensation. Our Private Equity Group has extensive experience in a broad range of sectors including technology, healthcare, financial services and consumer. Our attorneys represent early through late stage investors and companies, lenders and financial institutions, covering the full life cycle of their investments and financings – including growth equity, add-on acquisitions, re-financings, dividend recaps, leveraged buyouts and exits.

Candidates applying for attorney positions with Goodwin Procter should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. DC bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.
