Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking a part-time Staff Attorney for the Labor & Employment group with at least three years of experience for its Southern California office. Whether the dispute is administrative, single plaintiff or class based, we are known for delivering cost effective successful results to employers in wage and hour, discrimination, wrongful termination, trade secret and most other claims brought by employees. The successful candidate will be expected to work on employment litigation and perform all of the duties of a traditional law firm associate, including, but not limited to, legal research, drafting of legal memoranda, motions and pleading, attendance at court, discovery-related activities and investigation, analysis, and drafting of position statements. A minimum of three years of employment law experience, strong academic performance, and excellent writing skills are required.
