The Portland office of K&L Gates seeks to hire a junior or midlevel associate to join their dynamic Real Estate Finance practice.

The ideal candidate will have between 2 and 4 years of commercial real estate experience and in-depth understanding of purchase, sale, and development transactions, real estate secured financing, commercial leasing, partnerships and joint ventures, workouts and foreclosures, and all other aspects of commercial real estate. Skills required include document drafting and negotiations, due diligence coordination and analysis, basic conveyancing, and title insurance negotiations, as well as excellent written and oral skills. Experience in a large, sophisticated law firm is preferred, as is admission to the California Bar. A background in Finance will also be beneficial.
