The global law firm of K&L Gates seeks to hire a midlevel Corporate/M&A associate to join their dynamic Portland practice.

We seek candidates with experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity financings and general company representations.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage M&A transactions and general corporate work with oversight from partners and senior associates. We require outstanding academic credentials, excellent oral and written communication skills, a commitment to providing the highest quality client service, and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Our associates work closely with our clients and are expected to assume increasing levels of responsibility. Prior experience in a sophisticated law firm practice is required. The successful candidate will have the goal of becoming partner, be an enthusiastic contributor to the Firm and office culture, and have a collaborative approach to his/her work environment.
