Position available for an associate or Ph.D. Patent Agent with a minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience. Candidates must have a Masters degree or Ph.D. in biological sciences. Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Responsibilities will generally include a variety of patent prosecution and portfolio strategy matters. Such matters include preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications, conducting invention disclosure meetings and Examiner interviews, patentability searches, appeal practice before the Board, post-grant practice such as reexaminations and oppositions, patent clearance analyses, invalidity searches, opinion and due diligence matters.
