Choate seeks a patent attorney or patent agent with a strong technical background in biology who has between 2 and 4 years of patent prosecution experience. Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, strategically developing patent portfolios and supporting intellectual property litigators in the development of enforcement and defense strategies is required. Advanced degree required (PhD preferred; will consider an MS with substantial industry experience). Registration with the USPTO required; prior firm experience preferred.
