Our Tax Credit Finance & Syndication Practice Group is seeking to hire an associate to join our new markets tax credit practice in our Washington, DC office.

The attorneys in Nixon Peabody’s Tax Credit Finance & Syndication Practice Group partner with our clients to structure their present and future tax credit transactions. From housing and new markets to historic preservation and renewable energy, no firm has a deeper bench of well-connected industry experts.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have approximately one to four years of transactional experience, particularly tax credit (NMTC) experience. The successful candidate will work primarily with our New Markets Tax Credit team, and will focus on projects generating tax credits (NMTCs). The attorney’s role is primarily to help investors and syndicators utilize multiple sources of financing, including tax credits and other government incentives, for the revitalization of underserved urban and rural neighborhoods. The attorney will help clients close NMTC transactions to build charter schools, hotels, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Knowledge of government incentive programs, partnerships, limited liability companies, and an aptitude for analyzing financial projections, all will allow the successful attorney to provide real value to our clients.
