Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm with 44 offices, in 21 countries is seeking an IP associate for our Northern California offices to join its continually growing domestic and international intellectual property practice.

Candidates should have at least 3-4 years’ experience in domestic and international trademark, copyright and business-related intellectual property matters. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in advising clients on domestic and foreign trademark clearance and registration, enforcement, portfolio management, and strategic branding advice, as well as strong experience in copyright law. Additionally, experience in the following areas is strongly preferred: technology and non-technology licensing and other IP-related transactions, e-commerce, data protection and privacy, publishing, media and entertainment, sweepstakes and contests, technology and IP transfers, and general IP counseling.

Qualified candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, superior writing, communication and analytical skills. The candidate must possess a J.D. and be licensed to practice in the State of California.
