Chapman and Cutler LLP is seeking an entry-level Associate Attorney to join the Corporate and Securities Department in our Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a finance-focused firm that consistently develops innovative and practical legal solutions for complex financial transactions. The Corporate and Securities Department represents a broad spectrum of financial institutions and issuers in connection with public and private offerings of debt and equity securities in a comprehensive corporate finance practice.

The successful candidate will have 0-1 years of legal experience and will have excelled in law school. Prior business experience in or exposure to/interest in finance/accounting would be helpful, but is not required for consideration. Candidates must be members in good standing of the Illinois bar.

The ability to simultaneously handle multiple transactions is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, analytical and writing skills as well as excellent academic credentials.
