Associate
with 2 to 6 years of regulatory and compliance experience in the
financial services industry for its Consumer Financial Services Practice
Group. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regulatory or
enforcement experience is preferred. Work related to complying with
federal and state mortgage originations and servicing statutes and
regulations is also preferred. Excellent academics, legal research,
writing and analytical skills are required. Must be admitted to the
District of Columbia Bar or willing to become admitted (by motion or by
examination). Our Consumer Financial Services Practice Group has a team
of over 100 lawyers and legal professionals, many from in-house
positions, committed to understanding and supporting the industry's
changing needs. We represent residential mortgage originators, servicers
and investors alike, but also advise student lenders, credit card
companies, retail banks and unsecured lenders.
