The Richmond office of McGuireWoods seeks staff attorney with tax experience to assist with (1) tax filings for nonprofit organizations, including exemption applications on IRS Form 1023 or 1024, (2) preparation and filing of business entity documents, including nonstock or nonprofit corporations, stock corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships, and (3) general research related to nonprofit tax and governance issues or other tax and state law issues. Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines is important.
