We are looking for a talented associate to join our intellectual property practice group in Los Angeles. Qualified candidates should have strong academic credentials, 5+ years of law firm experience, a solid understanding of trademark and copyright law as well as litigation experience, and be admitted to practice in California. In this role, you'll work with a dynamic, collegial team handling complex litigation relating to copyright and trademark infringement, unfair competition, privacy issues, and business and contractual disputes. You will handle pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, mediations and all aspects of trial preparation. You will also manage trademark portfolios for national clients and advise on intellectual property licensing and usage. You will have the opportunity to draft vendor agreements and licensing agreements, and will work with insurers on intellectual property insurance coverage and advertising injury claims.
