Description
We are looking for an experienced litigation associate for our Boston or New York office as we continue to grow our risk management and insurance litigation practice.
Responsibilities
Handle demands on behalf of insurers and insureds; conduct depositions; litigate coverage issues; write briefs on coverage issues, be a key team player and support the growth of the practice through articles, speaking engagements and other client development activities.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have 4 to 5 years of Litigation experience (2 to 4 in insurance litigation) and must have a strong educational background, including a JD from a top-tier law school. Candidates should have experience with insurance issues for directors and officers and familiarity with technical issues of insurance coverage. Working on coverage or litigation issues specific to private equity and hedge funds is a plus. Must be detail oriented and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Admission to the Massachusetts or New York bar (or ability to sit for them) is required.
