Gordon & Rees LLP, a national firm of over 500 attorneys with 29 offices in 19 states, has an excellent opportunity in our Sacramento office for an experienced associate. We seek a candidate with the following qualifications, among others:

At least 3-5 years of full-time litigation experience*;
At least 3 years of regular practice in employment litigation (meaning your primary focus was employment litigation for at least the last 3 continuous years)*;
Strong working knowledge of California employment law;
Strong research and writing skills;
Ability to travel out of town to attend witness interviews, depositions and hearings when required;
Ability to take a case from the inception and complete all pre-trial work with little or nominal supervision;

The position will entail employment law and general liability litigation work. It is possible that the position may later shift to having a primary focus on employment work.
