We are currently seeking a 4th-7th year associate to join our busy and growing Business Law Department in our New York office. The candidate should ideally have a strong background and range of experience in healthcare regulatory matters, including but not limited to interpretation of federal and state healthcare regulations, HIPAA, anti-kickback and fraud and abuse and exposure to applying that knowledge in support of structuring transactions to comply with applicable laws. The ability to draft and negotiate commercial agreements in the healthcare space as well as some M&A would be a plus. The candidate would also assist some clients with the regulatory aspects of their SEC filings and would need to be able to research changes in the applicable regulations with a view to editing 10-K's and other reports accordingly. The candidate will also be actively involved in supporting practice group marketing initiatives such as working on the bi-weekly updates and other articles for publication and conference presentations. This is an outstanding opportunity for the candidate to become an integral part of a dynamic, growing practice group as well as a resource firmwide.
