Winston & Strawn is seeking to hire a litigation staff attorney to join our Newark office.

The primary responsibility of this position is to handle consumer litigation for a large bank client in defending against mortgage-related claims. The position is not a partnership track position.

Qualifications include:

JD from an ABA-accredited law school, with current admission in New Jersey;
Excellent academic credentials;
Financial services and/or mortgage litigation experience preferred;
Previous federal and state court experience preferred;
Ability to manage a large case-load efficiently;
Excellent legal research and writing skills;
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment;
Ability to provide excellent client service;
Strong organizational and analytical skills
