Briggs and Morgan is seeking a securities associate with 1-3 years experience representing issuers and underwriters in securities transactions, federal securities regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters, including public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, reviewing and preparing current reports, periodic reports, proxy statements and other filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the New York Stock Exchange and The NASDAQ Stock Market, researching various securities law topics, conducting due diligence, drafting various legal agreements, and providing general corporate and governance legal support.
