Global law firm Squire Sanders is hiring an Energy Projects Attorney to join our Washington DC office.
Our energy practice has been recognized for its comprehensive and innovative approach to the industry and its participation in nearly every major energy initiative of the past several decades, from the development of cross-border natural gas pipelines to ground-breaking liquefied natural gas terminals as well as renewable energy power plants throughout the world.
Qualified candidates will have 1 to 3 years of experience structuring, negotiating and documenting corporate transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and mergers, and demonstrated interest or experience in the development of energy projects. Candidates must have a J.D. and be licensed to practice in the District of Columbia. Candidates should also have excellent academic credentials and superior organizational, writing, and communication skills.
