The Los Angeles office of Morgan Lewis, an international law firm with more than 1,400 attorneys, seeks a highly qualified junior to mid-level associate with comparable law firm experience to join our Real Estate Practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex leasing, financing, acquisitions, and disposition of commercial and industrial properties.
Practice Description:
Morgan Lewis's Real Estate practice covers both coasts and assists our clients across the country wherever their business needs may take them. Known for our efficiency in handling transactions of all sizes and degrees of complexity, we represent major corporations, regional and national developers, REITs, private equity funds, institutional lenders, investors, pension funds and advisers, and special servicers in connection with their ownership, use, and financing of real estate. We collaborate regularly with other Morgan Lewis practices, including Business and Finance, Tax, and Labor and Employment, among others and are experienced in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, workouts and restructurings, land assemblage, development, investments by foreign entities, sale-leasebacks, leasing, taxation, condemnation, and land use.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, writing, and analytical skills. Finance and joint venture skills are a plus.
