Job Description
Our Intellectual Property/Patent Litigation Group, located in Atlanta, has an immediate opening for a full-time Associate. The ideal candidate will possess top academic credentials (top 15% of class from a first- or second-tier law school) and writing skills, as well as 3-5 years of significant IP/patent litigation experience. Candidate should have experience in Markman hearings; preparation of infringement and invalidity contentions; preparation of technical and damages expert witness reports; preparation of expert witnesses for deposition and cross examination of experts; preparation of trial related motions (motions in limine and Daubert motions); and preparation of jury instructions. Actual patent jury or bench trial experience is a plus. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Optical Physics, or Physics background is strongly preferred, and a Master's Degree is desirable.
