Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP seeks several highly qualified patent agents to join the intellectual property practice in our Silicon Valley office.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must be registered with the USPTO. Candidates should have 2+ years experience in one or more of the following areas:
Materials Science--preferably working knowledge of amorphous metals
Electrical Engineering-- preferably wireless telephony, LTE, UMTS, WiFi
Mechanical Engineering
Software-- preferably database, backup, virtualization, programming languages, operating systems (e.g.; OSX, UNIX, iOS), security/authentication, HDCP, Web-based programming languages (HTML and XML), consumer electronics (tablet computer and media players), Internet, networking, storage systems, Software defined storage, Software as a Service (SAAS), integrated circuit design, social media, and Web-based software.
