Years of Experience: The California offices of Hunton & Williams seek an associate to join our environmental practice group. Experience with California environmental law is essential.
The ideal candidate would be a 3rd year or more senior associate with regulatory and/or litigation background. Ideally, the regulatory training should include experience with federal and state air, water, and hazardous materials programs and permitting, NEPA/CEQA, Proposition 65, auditing, due diligence and/or transactional experience. Work in the manufacturing, mining, chemicals and energy sectors is preferred. The candidate should possess strong writing skills, experience interfacing with clients and government regulatory agencies, and solid academics. A technical background is a plus.
