Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in the San Francisco Office of its preeminent, internationally recognized Emerging Companies practice; associates with four to six years of experience working with private emerging growth, technology companies are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have: (i) extensive experience in representing early stage venture-backed companies and their investors, (ii) experience in managing client relationships and handling the day-to-day requirements and work flow requirements of a variety of clients and matters; (iii) substantive knowledge of and experience with mergers and acquisitions; and (iv) significant exposure to drafting, negotiating and managing all aspects of venture financing transactions. Ideal candidates will have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
