Prestigious corporation seeks highly experienced tax counsel to join its legal team. Position is based in Charlotte, NC and work must be performed on-site. This position is responsible for M&A due diligence , structuring and negotiation; transactional tax planning; research and writing on complicated federal, state and international tax issues; and federal, state and local tax controversy support.
Ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience in tax law either in-house or with a law firm and possess extraordinary interpersonal, communication and writing skills. J.D. required; LL.M. in Taxation a big plus.
