Intellectual Property Paralegal

The IP Paralegal will contribute to Eagle Pharmaceuticals as a key member of the litigation department working towards the successful resolution of intellectual property and commercial litigation matters.

Communicate with various departments to resolve routine and complex legal matters within Eagle Pharmaceuticals with minimal supervision
Legal support across

Patent Litigation; enforcing Eagle’s patent vs. competition
SEC Filing
M&A activity
R&D activity
Cross Functions at Corporate HQ
Work closely with outside legal firm(s)
Help create an internal database to track docket for deadlines; understand docket, deadlines and action needed on each matter
Assist in preparing depositions of company witnesses; analyzing information and determining relevancy
Coordinate collection of company documents for discovery and other requests
Prepare requests for information, identification, collection, review and preparation of documents for production
With direction, is responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of Attorney and Business unit projects or programs.
Possess strong knowledge of Eagle Pharmaceutical’s business and knowledge of the broader business impact

Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all tiers of personnel
Extensive knowledge of basic legal principles, processes and related technologies
Highly motivated, focusing on achieving measurable results
Ability to manage project roles, identify resource requirements, meet training needs, define project deliverables, provide end user satisfaction and reporting structures to ensure quality of projects.
Proficient Knowledge in project management tools (ie: Microsoft Project)

 
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant legal education (Paralegal Certificate)
