The Magistrate Court of Fulton County is seeking Indigent Defense Attorneys for Misdemeanor Conflict Cases. Fulton County Magistrate Court has an IMMEDIATE need for indigent defense attorneys to work as a conflict attorneys in misdemeanor cases. The assignment includes all phases of criminal misdemeanor litigation from first appearance through preliminary hearings, bond hearings, motions to trial. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience as a criminal lawyer as well as a strong desire to provide excellent services as counsel to indigent defendants. This is a contract attorney position. This position requires significant last-minute scheduling, with a minimum of 1-2 hours' notice of request. Deadline to apply is May 31, 2019.
