Chambers-ranked healthcare practice in locally based global firm and has launched a new component to its practice that focuses on securing recoveries on behalf of healthcare companies wronged in the context of fraud and abuse, drug overcharges, the False Claims Act, and anti-kickback claims. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a plaintiff-oriented practice (in a non-class action firm) and litigate and secure meaningful recoveries on behalf of hospitals, managed care organizations, insurance companies, and other organizations in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will reflect one or more of the following traits: (1) 3+ years of solid healthcare litigation experience at a law firm; (2) 3+ years of general litigation experience at a law firm with an interest in focusing on healthcare litigation/recovery matters; and/or (3) a junior associate who may not have litigation experience, but has a demonstrated background in healthcare (e.g., MPH) and an interest in transitioning into healthcare recovery. *Work alongside firm management in its launch and growth of this healthcare recovery practice in a firm where collegiality, mentorship, and strong client relationship skills are valued.
