We are seeking an associate to join our real estate and finance practice in Stamford and New York. Candidates should have four to six years of experience in commercial real estate with a focus on leasing, conveyancing and bank side lending including drafting loan documents. Experience with structured finance/capital markets and general corporate matters is considered a plus but not required. Strong drafting and negotiation skills are required. Candidates must be self-starters, have the desire to grow in responsibility and ultimately manage transactions, have experience working as a member of a team on complex deals and be willing to work out of offices in Stamford, New York and occasionally Hartford as needs dictate. We will consider candidates who prefer to work from the firm’s New York office on a limited regular schedule for a portion of the time so long as candidate would also maintain a regular primary schedule in one of the firm’s Connecticut offices.
