Labor & Employment Associate

Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm with 47 offices, in 20 countries, is seeking an Associate for our Northern California offices with at least 3 years of general litigation and labor and employment experience.
 The individual hired for this position will support several attorneys in both the litigation and labor and employment practice groups. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing discovery requests and responses; drafting motions, research memoranda and correspondence. Additionally, they will provide high level counsel to clients on employment law compliance issues.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Must be admitted to a US state bar and be in good standing. Admission to the California Bar is expected.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience•Class Action experience (specifically wage and hour class action experience).•Experience with harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims and investigations. •Strong client advice and counsel experience.•Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters on a day-to-day basis, argue substantive briefs and motions and take depositions with limited supervision required.•Superior research and analytical abilities.•Excellent written and verbal skills.•Ability to work independently and take initiative.
