Tycko & Zavareei LLP’s Oakland, DC Office
Who We Are:
Tycko & Zavareei LLP was founded in 2002, when Jonathan Tycko and Hassan Zavareei left a large national firm to start a new kind of practice: a private law firm with top tier attorneys serving the public interest. Our attorneys are graduates from the nation’s finest colleges and law schools.
Before joining the firm, our lawyers served in prestigious clerkships, worked for the government, worked in the public interest sector, or worked for large prestigious law firms. Together, we have established a long and successful record of litigating complex cases. With offices in Washington, DC and Oakland, CA our lawyers routinely handle large and complex matters throughout the country.
A wide-range of clients have trusted us with their most difficult problems. Those clients include individuals fighting for their civil rights, consumers seeking redress for unfair business practices, whistleblowers exposing fraud and corruption, tenants’ associations battling to preserve decent and affordable housing, and non-profit entities and businesses facing difficult litigation.
Why Work Here?
We value a work environment that fosters collaboration. We offer exciting opportunities for new and experienced attorneys who are interested in complex civil litigation that benefits the public interest.
Because we value our exceptional associates, we give them significant responsibility, and provide them with opportunities to develop their own cases.
Based on years of experience, Tycko & Zavareei LLP also offers competitive compensation, as well as the opportunity for advancement to more senior positions.
What We Look For:
Our team is looking for talented self-starters, who are committed to the public interest, and who are comfortable in a boutique firm environment. Admission to the California bar is required.
