Tax Associate- Mid-Level

Drummond Woodsum’s growing tax department seeks an associate attorney with 4-8 years of relevant law firm experience in its Portland, Maine office.
The tax group works closely with the firm's corporate and real estate practice and advises clients on a variety of tax matters including corporate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; partnerships, LLCs and joint ventures; private equity and private equity fund formation; real estate, historic tax credit transactions, new market tax credit transactions, affordable housing tax credit transactions; non-profit tax matters and various financing transactions.  The candidate will work closely with the firm’s business and transactional lawyers as part of a rapidly growing corporate and business practice. 
Candidates applying for attorney positions with Drummond Woodsum should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Maine bar admission preferred.
