EMPLOYEE BENEFITS ASSOCIATE

Shipman & Goodwin LLP is seeking an associate to join our Employee Benefits practice in Hartford. Candidates should have two to five years of employee benefits experience including ERISA, qualified pension and 401k plans, executive compensation, nonqualified deferred compensation, 409A, and health and welfare plans, or transferable experience. Experience dealing with complex benefits issues associated with various corporate transactions is considered a plus. Top academic credentials are required, along with strong interpersonal skills, excellent writing ability, and the ability to become admitted to the Connecticut Bar.
