Drummond Woodsum’s growing corporate department seeks an associate attorney with 2-8 years of relevant law firm experience in its Portland office.
Candidate must have experience both working in teams and in managing components of transactions independently, with specific experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities matters, private placements, and venture capital financings (representing both investors and targets). Candidate must be proactive, with a strong business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.
Candidates applying for attorney positions with Drummond Woodsum should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Maine bar admission preferred.
