Assistant Vice President – Associate General Counsel, Regulatory

AtlantiCare, southeastern New Jersey’s leading healthcare system, has an exceptional opportunity for an Assistant Vice President – Associate General Counsel, Regulatory to join our team.
Responsibilities:

Serves as support to the Vice President and General Counsel, to the organization and its affiliates on the legal aspects of professional and business matters.
Researching and advising on issues related to all areas of the law, including physician agreements, vendor/purchasing agreements, employment, medical staff matters, managed care, regulatory compliance, and more. 
Drafting and development of agreements and contracts. 

 Requirements:

Juris Doctor and a member of the Bar of the State of New Jersey.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in performing legal work within a hospital, physician practice or law firm servicing hospital and/or physician clients.
Knowledge about State and Federal health care and tax exempt laws/regulations, including, but not limited to, the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners, the Codey Law, Stark, Fraud and Abuse and False Claims preferred.
