Someone with ANDA and/or other life sciences patent litigation experience who isn't afraid to stand up in court or take a deposition (and preferably has actually done both), is comfortable speaking directly with clients and opposing counsel, enjoys thinking creatively and working on a team, and is willing to actively participate in the strategic development of the case.

Desired Experience—litigation basics including preparing and filing complaints, answers, and counterclaims, and the associated pre-filing diligence; drafting discovery requests and responses, and participating in discovery on infringement, validity, and damages issues, including depositions and expert discovery; researching and drafting dispositive and discovery motions and claim construction briefing; participating in pre-trial and trial activities; analyzing and understanding technology and patent issues. Candidates should have excellent writing skills.

Expected Responsibilities – Developing infringement, validity, and damages strategies; leading and participating in discovery and motions practice on technical, patent, infringement, validity and financial issues; working with experts to assist them in preparing reports and preparing them for deposition and trial; developing and implementing claim construction strategies; drafting pre-trial disclosures; and contributing as an active member of trial teams.
