Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in the mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and emerging companies practices of its Reston, VA and Washington, DC offices; associates with two to four years of general corporate experience are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates will have: (i) experience in private company matters (including venture capital and other financings), mergers and acquisitions, private equity and growth equity financings and corporate governance matters; (ii) experience working in the business/corporate department of a comparable law firm; (iii) experience in managing client relationships and handling the day-to-day requirements and work flow requirements of a variety of clients in different stages of development, and (iv) a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
