The Hartford office of Robinson & Cole LLP, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a Business Immigration Associate with two to four years of business immigration law experience to join our Immigration practice.
 
Our lawyers, experienced in all aspects of immigration law, represent Fortune 100 and Global 500 companies, as well as small businesses, new ventures, and nonprofit organizations, including hospitals and universities.  Our firm provides a full range of immigration legal services. We regularly prepare submissions to all applicable government agencies and assist clients with employment eligibility verification and compliance.
 
The ideal candidate will have experience assessing eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for nonimmigrant and immigrant visa status in the United States, working with clients to prepare petitions and applications for submission to United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of Labor (DOL) for nonimmigrant and immigrant status for foreign national duties, and working on other related duties as required.
Our ideal candidate has superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, has the ability to work as a member of a team, and works well in a fast-paced environment.  Candidate must be highly motivated with strong organizational skills (with emphasis on detail) and the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
