Software Licensing Attorney for products

Temporary/FT/Flexible: PH072919. Our client, a company in the Willow Grove vicinity, has an IMMEDIATE NEED (read: "yesterday!) for a Software Licensing attorney who can work up to 5 days a week on-site working on software matters. (Hours may vary so flexibility is important.)
 
The client is NOT interested in seeing "Enterprise Software" practitioners. Rather, looking for Software Licensing practitioners with products and/or solutions experience.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Among the duties of this opening would be, but not limited to:
Draft, analyze, and negotiate channel partner and procurement contracts with vendors as well as sales agreements for outbound licensing to customers, based on either Company templates or vendor/customer generated contracts, while ensuring compliance with Company policy and applicable law. The selected attorney would also advise and counsel internal business clients, including software engineering teams, on the usage of OSS and provide guidance related to OSS compliance and disputes. You would  provide legal counsel, advice and guidance for the Company’s global software licensing, development, and distribution operations and for other commercial matters as requested from time to time.
 
You should have the IQ and the EQ to do this job well, including having 3-8 years experience with software licensing and development agreements for software distributed in products or solutions to customers. Need to have excellent verbal/written communication skills and drafting skills and a keen attention to detail.
 
You must be actively licensed to practice law in at least one state and be in good-standing with no disciplinary history.
