Stark & Stark has an opening for a Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be self-directed and detailed-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
The candidate will manage a full caseload of petitioner’s workers' compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity, and will be responsible for all aspects of the workers’ compensation case. These responsibilities will include evaluating the merits of a workers compensation claim, providing guidance and counsel to the clients through effective communication, medical review, and negotiating, settling and litigating cases, if necessary.
Qualifications
Must have 3 – 5 years' of Workers Compensation experience. Should possesses strong negotiation and communication skills, a firm understanding of New Jersey workers’ compensation laws, an ability to handle a large caseload, and effective leadership skills. Some trial experience required.
