Fox Rothschild LLP has an opening in the New York office for an associate in the Intellectual Property department. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in patent prosecution, portfolio management, due diligence, opinions and licensing in the life sciences, with a technical background pertinent to the biotech and/or pharmaceutical industries (preferably a PhD). Must be licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and/or have previous experience as a patent agent or examiner. Candidates must also have experience with USPTO rules and procedures, strong academic credentials, and excellent research, writing and analytical skills.
