Sr. Corporate Litigation Attorney

Emajee, has openings for 2 trial/litigation attorneys. We are seeking an attorney with 15+ years of civil litigation experience who has completed at least 5 jury trials to conclusion, experience taking and defending depositions and strong desire to do trials. Attorneys will have full file responsibility and must be able to organize their case work files accordingly. Must be able to handle an inventory of approximately 15 to 20 cases. All candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, outstanding written and oral advocacy skills and strong software/technological skills including competency in Word, Outlook, and Westlaw. Competitive candidates will be well organized, detail oriented and able to independently manage a caseload where work is time sensitive. Please include salary requirements in your application.

Job entry requirements:

J.D., preferably from an A.B.A. Accredited Law School, in the top half of graduating class and an active member in good standing of Bar in State of California. Additional States of good standing in Bar is a plus.
Other than authorized and pro bono work, incumbents are not permitted to handle any legal business outside of the Company and candidates must cease all outside practice and all suit involvement before joining our team.
Must successfully complete orientation and training program as designated by the Managing Attorney or the Law Department.
Travels via commercial transportation or driving to job related activities
May work irregular hours because of workload and nature of the work
Meets State Bar requirements and maintains legal competency by participation in continuing legal education programs

Duties and Responsibilities:

Handles litigation and other legal assignments in accordance with guidelines established by the Law Department
Performs all other duties as assigned
Handle discovery, motion practice and court appearances
