Experience Required

Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in the San Diego office of its preeminent, internationally recognized corporate practice; associates with three to four years of general corporate experience involving public and private companies are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have experience (i) representing public companies in a wide variety of matters including corporate governance and SEC and exchange reporting and compliance; (ii) representing private companies in a wide variety of organizational and finance matters, including venture financings; (iii) representing buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions; (iv) representing companies, investors and underwriters in public securities transactions and (v) managing client relationships and handling the day-to-day demands and work flow requirements of a variety of clients with sophisticated needs. Ideal candidates will have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
