We seeking a Commercial Real-Estate and Real Estate Finance Attorney with 7-15 years of experience.  The position is based in Houston, TX with a Global law firm but will involve working with real estate attorneys in other offices as well as attorneys in other practice sections.  Our Real Estate group represents buyers and sellers of office, industrial, alternative energy, retail and mixed-use properties throughout the U.S. and works closely with other practice sections assisting them on financing, M&A and leasing transactions.  We pride ourselves on practicing at the highest levels, on highly complex transactions, in interdisciplinary teams and across offices.  
The successful candidate will be highly experienced in real estate and commercial transactions, including complex real property purchases and sales, mortgage lending, leasing, formation of joint ventures and other entities and managing diligence and other aspects of multi-state real estate, energy and corporate transactions.    The Attorney should have experience managing teams of attorneys on large transactions and acting as lead attorney on appropriate transactions but also but be willing to handle smaller tasks as needed.
Candidate must  have Bachelor's degree and J.D. from an ABA-accredited US law school required.  Must also be a member of and in good standing with the Texas Bar.  Ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong analytical skills and knowledge of ethics and conduct codes, which are a requirement for the proper and legal practice of the law.
