The Washington D.C. office of Arent Fox LLP is seeking a litigation associate for its patent practice group. The ideal candidate must have a chemistry or chemical engineering background, 4-6 years in ANDA (Hatch-Waxman) patent litigation, and experience in validity searches and development of invalidity strategies. Hands on litigation experience, such as “lead associate” on a case, courtroom experience, taking and defending depositions, working with experts and drafting discovery requests/responses strongly preferred. Membership to the Patent Bar is required. Candidates must also possess strong writing skills, excellent academic credentials and a desire to excel in a law firm environment. Candidates should be able to work independently and seek appropriate guidance plus have the ability to work in a team environment.
