Duane Morris LLP, an AM Law 100 global general service firm, has an opening for a patent agent/technical advisor with biotechnology patent experience, in technologies such as biologic drug/immunotherapeutic/stem cell/diagnostics/biomedical engineering, to join its life sciences practice group in San Diego.  The candidate should have familiarity with patent prosecution, patent portfolio management and lifecycle extension strategies for protecting FDA approved products, and ideally have experience assisting with IP diligence and pre-litigation/litigation analysis, including prior art searching.  Our ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in the life sciences, will have 1-5 years’ patent-related experience in a relevant life science discipline, will be well-versed in biotechnology patent analysis and possess patent prosecution and IP diligence and/or litigation skills, and who will thrive in our creative, entrepreneurial and collegial environment.  EOE/AA/M/F/D/V.
