TEMP to PERM NON-PROFIT ATTORNEY:  Do you want to work for an organization that you believe in and that has a mission you support?   If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.   A Non-Profit organization in Washington, DC is seeking a staff attorney to join its legal team.   You will be assisting with a variety of matters including:
--Enterprise Risk Management
--Fundraising & Marketing
--Event Administration
--Board governance and regional relationships
This Non-Profit is located in Washington, D.C. and work must be done on-site.   It will start on a temporary basis for about three to four months.   If this is a good fit, the Non-Profit intends for the position to become permanent.  Requirements for the position include:
--Admission to the DC bar
--5 years of relevant legal experience with either a law firm or in-house legal department
--Ability to draft contracts
--Experience with at least 2 of the following:  1) commercial co-ventures, sponsorship and fundraising law; 2) risk management and insurance; 3) employment law); 4) nonprofit tax and governance laws
