Legalpeople is currently sourcing an experienced ERISA Paralegal on behalf of an excellent client in the Sandy Springs area. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 5 years of ERISA and/or Tax experience and shall be adept at the following activities:

Assist Senior ERISA Legal Compliance Attorneys and Managing Attorney in performing analysis of documentation related to companies involved in:

IRS’s EPCRS;
M&A Transactions; and
Code Section 4980H assessments

Legal research and analysis of ERISA legal compliance requirements related to ERISA issues related to retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation programs;
Synthesize and summarize issues into readable documents for clients;

Draft ERISA-related IRS forms, including Forms 5500, 1094-C and 1095-C and any and all accompanying documentation and Schedules;
Prepare primary legal documents, including

Memorandums;
Plan documents;
Resolutions, Participant Agreements, Amendments;

Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions;
Collaborate with the Firm’s attorneys in their efforts to develop professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
