International Dispute Resolution Paralegal

The New York office of Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm with 44 offices, in 19 countries, is currently seeking a full-time International Dispute Resolution Paralegal. The individual hired for this position will support our local International Dispute Resolution department and assist clients internationally.
Job Description: •The Paralegal will be part of the International Dispute Resolution practice group supporting a team of lawyers in New York and in overseas offices.•Extensive case management work, including maintenance of case files.•Provide support during case filings and hearings and opportunity to assist with research.•Maintenance of procedural calendars and coordination of document production.•Copy-editing and review of citations and sources.•Significant overtime expected and occasional travel required as needed.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:•Bachelor’s Degree required.•Prior work experience in a law firm or similar environment desired.•Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.•Superior organizational, communication and project management skills essential.•Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team under solid deadlines.•Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.•Fluency in a foreign language (specifically, Russian, Turkish and/or German) a plus.
